Display

- Large 5.66" (14.51cm) diagonal, 320 x 240 (w x h) pixel, Color Illuminated (CI) TFT — liquid crystal display renders vivid color sonar and GPS/mapping detail, with super-sharp viewing in direct sunlight.
- Superb LCD screen resolution - 76,800 total pixels (4,706 per inch2 / 716 per cm2) - for excellent underwater detail and target separation.
- Advanced, adjustable cold-cathode backlighted screen with three levels of illumination for super-crisp night/low-light viewing.
- Programmable color palette to customize the display to match personal preferences for target/bottom/structure identification.

Sonar/Sounder

- Performance versatility with built-in dual-frequency selectivity for 50 kHz or 200 kHz operation, or both simultaneously with split-screen displays.

GPS/Mapping

- Activate GPS functions with optional GPS Mapping Accessories Pack that includes LGC-12W 12-parallel channel GPS/WAAS receiver/antenna, MapCreate™ CD-ROM software, one reusable compact digital 16MB Multi-Media Card (MMC), and MMC reader/interface with USB connector (parallel port connector optional).
- Exclusive, Lowrance custom background map software (pre-loaded on 16MB MMC card included with the Accessories Pack) features enhanced mapping detail for bodies of water, shorelines and highways from southern Canada to northern Mexico, plus Hawaii and the Bahamas. Greatest detail on shorelines of U.S. coastal waterways, lakes and rivers.
Note:  MMC card background map is erasable for loading more detailed map segments, or for recording sonar graphs/GPS trip details.
- Waterproof drawer on front of unit accepts up to two MMC cards2 for recording, storing, and playback of both your color sonar graphs and GPS trip details, right on the LCX-15CI screen, or your personal computer at home.  The unit can accept two MMC cards simultaneously, each holding up to 128MB.
- Customize your LCX-15CI GPS maps to exacting proportions with optional Lowrance MapCreate™ CD-ROM and/or Navionics® electronic charts.  Unique "cookie cutter" map chooser feature lets you maximize MMC card memory space by downloading only the detailed map areas you create.  MapCreate™ CD-ROM also details over 60,000 critical navigation aids and 10,000 wrecks and obstructions in U.S. coastal and Great Lakes waters.
- Mega-memory storage for up to 1,000 waypoints plus 1,000 event markers and up to 100 routes (with up to 100 waypoints per route).
- 10 savable plot trails, up to 10,000 points per trail.
- 42 different graphic icons to mark favorite spots.
- 34 different map zoom display ranges, from 0.1 — 4,000 miles, with one-touch zoom-in/-out control.
